Ave Atque Vale
Hello. I’m a mathematician, a student, a research fellow, a teaching assistant – choose whatever you like! - at the University of Bologna, in the Mathematics Department. Here is my University page.
I’m absolutely obsessed with maths – it’s hard to explain, but I’m sure you have your own obsessions too (isomorphisms everywhere!)I decided to create this page as a modest experiment: I knew absolutely nothing about HTML and CSS, and with these things, just like with chess, the only way to learn is by doing (by the way: my favourite opening is a3, Anderssen). Also I could post here some of my funny codes, in the future; we’ll see.
In 2025/2026 I'll be a Teaching Assistant and Tutor in the following courses:
- Mathematical Analysis - degree course in Information Science for Management with prof. Laura Galli.
- Mathematics for Economists - degree course in Economics, Markets and Institutions with Prof. Iliyan V. Georgiev.
- Mathematical Analysis I and II - degree course in Computer Science with proff. Marco Mughetti and Daniele Morbidelli.
- Linear Algebra and Geometry - degree course in Industrial Engineering with prof. Luca Marchese.
- Linear Algebra and Geometry - degree course in Information Science for Management with prof. Francesco Regonati.
- Multivariable Calculus - degree course in Architecture-Engineering with prof. Alessia Cattabriga.
My studies, interests and research explore the intersection between mathematical optimisation, discrete structures and game theory.
- Convex and Combinatorial Optimisation (see e.g. these notes, this stunning book, this book, this book
- Regularity of/and Solutions of Elliptics and Parabolic PDEs (see e.g. this paper and this paper)
- Generalised Nash Equilibrium Problems and Mean Field Games (see e.g. this lecture notes, and this paper
Side side interests and else:
- M.E.N.S.A. associate.
- Coding (C, Python, Assembly).
- Birds (especially pigeons and crows).
- Magic - The Gathering collectible card game.
- Playing Piano (mostly J.S.Bach and S. Rachmaninoff).
- Stationeries, Fountain Pens, Inks, Papers, Colours, Notebooks.
