Email: rules and common sense.

Common sense in writing an email:

  • Introduce yourselves (student of...) and explain the issue clearly. I do not appreciate receiving attachments of .jpeg type, nor .txt or Word type "e simile lordura" (Dante, Inferno XI). However, if you write in calligraphy (from the Greek – "beautiful writing"), that’s a different matter.
  • Learn to express yourself: after (at least) 13 years of schooling, you must be able to express yourselves clearly. If Italian isn’t your first language, you can write me in English, French or Spanish. I also accept Icelandic, though my skills are a bit rusty.
  • Effort: Explicit requests for solutions without demonstrating any effort will be ignored.
